Am 25.05.2023 fin­det von 20.00–21.30 Uhr unser Online Cir­cle unter dem Titel „Mothers in Sci­ence – Glo­bal Call for Action for Mothers in Sci­ence“ mit Refe­ren­tin Isa­bel Tor­res statt.

We are very hap­py to wel­co­me Isa­bel Tor­res from the orga­niz­a­ti­on Mothers in Sci­ence. 
Mothers in Sci­ence is an inter­na­tio­nal non-pro­fit orga­niz­a­ti­on that advo­ca­tes for mothers and other care­gi­vers in STEMM (Sci­ence Tech­no­lo­gy Engi­nee­ring Mathe­ma­tik) to incre­a­se reten­ti­on of women in STEMM care­ers. It has united indi­vi­du­als and orga­ni­sa­ti­ons from all around the world with a com­mon goal—to demand our lea­ders for immedia­te action to sup­port mothers in sci­ence and enact poli­ci­es to eli­mi­na­te sys­temic ine­qui­ties and incre­a­se reten­ti­on of women in STEMM fiel­ds. Isa­bel and her col­leagues have crea­ted an action plan out­lining a set of spe­ci­fic and action­ab­le stra­te­gies to pro­mo­te inclu­si­on of care­gi­vers and clo­se the gen­der gap in rese­arch fun­ding. In our Online Cir­cle, Isa­bel will pre­sent and dis­cuss the action plan with us.
