The work­shop will take place at TU Darm­stadt from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm. The con­tent of the work­shop will include the exami­na­ti­on of one’s own posi­ti­on on the topic of child­ren (desi­re) and sci­ence, rai­sing awa­re­ness of the struc­tu­ral con­di­ti­ons of paren­thood and in par­ti­cu­lar mother­hood in sci­ence, deve­lo­p­ment of needs for a suc­cessful com­pa­ti­bi­li­ty in one’s own working envi­ron­ment and impul­ses for equal paren­thood.
The tar­get group of the work­shop are sci­en­tists in the doc­to­ral and post-doc­to­ral pha­se (all gen­ders!) who eit­her alre­a­dy have (a) child(ren) or who would like to deal with the topic of (the desi­re to have) child­ren and sci­ence.
